Mounts Botanical Garden

Over 2000 species of tropical, subtropical and exotic plants from six continents, including arid-land, aquatics and edible landscapes thrive across 14 urban acres.
The Palm Beach Zoo
1301 Summit Blvd, West Palm Beach
Twenty three acres of tropical habitat and fifteen hundred animals including otters, Malayan tigers, kangaroos, tropical birds and monkeys, Florida panthers, siamangs, bush dogs, giant anteaters Patagonian cavies, and Baird's tapirs.
The zoo also features a carousel, water fountain, the Harriet W. and the George D. Cornell Tropics of the Americas Exhibit, named by Animal Planet as one of the "Ultimate Zoo" exhibits in 2006, which showcases both the animals and the native culture found in the Central and South American regions. There is a 3-acre recreation of a Central and South American rainforest with Mayan pyramids, sculptures, and music.

An amphibious 75 minute tour, on land and riding high through the Historic Neighborhoods, past Lake Worth Lagoon, then in the water, cruising the Intracoastal Waterway to see the manatees, turtles, dolphins, blue herons, and pelicans near Peanut Island, the glamorous mansions lining the coast of Palm Beach and the site of the J.F. Kennedy Bomb Shelter. Then back on land via the Currie Park boat ramps and through the Clematis Street Shopping District, past Centennial Fountain and returning to CityPlace.
South Florida Science Museum

The Museum includes an aquarium, planetarium, observatory, science trail, Egypt Gallery, and miniature galaxy golf and conducts laser concerts. Aquarium and planetarium exhibits include coral, baby gators, glow in the dark fish and underwater fish and gator cams down to 18 ft depths. Special exhibits on the world's maritime history and solar powered model trains and town are also open.
The Museum at Ragtops Motorcar
2119 South Dixie Hwy, West Palm Beach
Three buildings spread over two entire city blocks packed with special interest automobiles, including vintage station wagons. Soda bar, drive in theatre, new tropical art deco showroom, unique gift boutique alongside a museum highlighting America's love affair with the automobile.
