Stephen Bozeman, Director, is a Senior Product Strategist in the Defined Contribution group. He is responsible for leading BlackRock's CoRI Retirement Index business.

Prior to joining BlackRock in May 2011, Mr. Bozeman managed Barclays Global Investors' pension outsourcing platform, PensionSpan, and had oversight for BGI's small institutional client service platform, Client Connect. Mr. Bozeman also managed client relationships in BGI's Americas Institutional Business.

Mr. Bozeman earned a BS degree in business administration from Northeastern University in 1991, and attended the MS program in finance at Louisiana State University.

Ron Bush

Ron Bush is a Founder and Principal of Brightwork Partners, LLC.  Drawing on over 30 years of research and consulting experience in the retirement and investment products business, he is a frequent speaker on retirement services industry topics at conferences and client forums. He has been ranked among the 100 most influential people in Defined Contribution by 401(k) Wire in each of the past five years.

Prior to forming Brightwork Partners in 1999, he was a founding partner of Access Research where he developed that firm's strategic consulting practice and a suite of retirement research programs.  Previously he was with the pension and investment management business at CIGNA where he was responsible for business strategy and research.

Ron has core expertise in the defined contribution market but his interests extend across the retirement services arena.  Recently, he has been particularly engaged with assessing the needs of pre-retirees and the recently retired, with the development of retirement income products and with ways to measure and enhance retirement plan effectiveness. 

A graduate of Lebanon Valley College (BA) and the Harvard Business School (MBA), Ron is also the Managing Principal of Retirement Research, Inc.

Greg Clark

Mr. Clark has over 27 years of senior and executive level management experience in the retirement and financial services industries. He started his career with First Union National Bank in Charlotte, NC. Since that time, his career and responsibilities evolved to include managing business acquisition and integration strategies for investor groups pursuing roll-up opportunities within the retirement services marketplace. Mr. Clark has also held the position of Chief Operating Officer of two different national Third Party Administration (TPA) firms, trust companies and broker dealers. In addition, he was responsible for managing the institutional trust and retirement services business for a top 20 bank holding company.

For the past 8 years he has held various positions at SunGard including management roles across new business development, client account management, product management and general manager for the Omni business unit within the Wealth & Retirement Administration segment. He is currently serving as the head of relationship management and international strategy for the W&RA segment which includes the advisory, trust and retirement businesses of SunGard. He is a Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) and a governing board member of the Society of Professional Administrators and Record Keepers (SPARK). He earned his Bachelorís degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and completed the Executive Leadership Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Peter Demmer

Peter Demmer is the co-founder and CEO of Sterling Resources.  Sterling specializes in retirement services in the US and international markets, providing financial and business analysis, merger and acquisition support, and market research services.

Mr. Demmer's significant responsibilities and accomplishments include: developed the Profit 2000TM benchmark study series, whose clients include 40 of the top US retirement service providers.  This study currently tracks providers that administer over 450,000 retirement plans with 3 trillion dollars in assets, covering 55 million participants; focused Sterling's practice on intensive, specialized consulting work with clients to improve outcomes and profitability in the US retirement market; manages merger/acquisition/joint venture projects supporting clients in retirement services and other investment product areas for over 25 years.  Sterling's M&A work has been instrumental in over 30 transactions with an aggregate value (revenue) of approximately $1.5 billion; built a 20-bank coalition of leading US banks specializing in retirement services that served the industry for 17 years.

Mr. Demmer has over thirty-five years of experience in the financial services industry and is a frequent speaker at national industry conferences.  His strategic and business analysis of the roles that investment firms play in supporting domestic and global retirement programs has been extensively quoted.  Prior to forming Sterling, Mr. Demmer was division executive and manager of Chase Manhattan's Institutional Asset Servicing business lines, covering both domestic and international investment markets. Mr. Demmer holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Operations Research and Economics from New York University.

Derek Dorn

Derek B. Dorn, a partner of Davis & Harman LLP, leverages Washington know-how and technical proficiency to help clients identify and advance their priorities through the policymaking process. His practice concentrates on legislative and regulatory matters related to taxation and benefits, with a particular emphasis on retirement policy. Derek provides legal and policy counsel, technical advice, and advocacy on matters before Congress, the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service, and the Department of Labor.

He joined the Firm from the U.S. Senate, where he served most recently as Senior Finance Counsel to Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-NM) and Staff Director of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Energy, Natural Resources & Infrastructure. In those roles, Derek was lead adviser on taxation, pension/retirement, budget, and economic policy to Senator Bingaman, a senior Member of the Finance and Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Committees. Earlier, Derek was Economic Policy Counsel to Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT).

Before entering public service, Derek managed a global investment research company's Washington office. He began his career practicing in the tax, trusts and estates groups of a major global law firm's New York office.

A New York native, Derek received a B.S. (honors in labor economics) from Cornell University and a J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was a senior editor of the Yale Law Journal and the Yale Law & Policy Review. Since 2008, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center.

Karen Eisenbach

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Karen has extensive experience within the financial services industry. Prior to her current role she held key leadership positions in sales, product management and marketing at Nationwide Financial and owned her own consulting business where she consulted on marketing initiatives for several financial services companies including Great-West Retirement Services.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Paul Gould

Paul Gould is head of the participant engagement phone channel with Lincoln Retirement Plan Services. Paul leads multiple teams of internal retirement consultants (RCs), who work collaboratively with their external counterparts. Together, these teams of internal and external RCs deliver retirement education and distribution guidance to plan participants to help them achieve better retirement outcomes.

Paul joined Lincoln Financial Group in 2008. Since that time, he has worked to establish and develop the participant engagement phone channel, drawing on both his own experience and the skills and expertise of many others, both inside and outside of Lincoln Financial. 

Prior to joining Lincoln Financial Group, Paul was a vice president with Merrill Lynch, where he managed teams focused on retail brokerage business. Before that, he worked as a financial advisor with Prudential Securities.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. In addition, he has earned FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, 9, 10 and 24 registrations and the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPCģ) designation.

Matthew Guidotti

Matthew Guidotti is Director of Marketing and Regulatory Communications at Broadridge Financial Solutions. His has responsibility for marketing and regulatory communications strategies, client development and engagement.  His areas of expertise include on-demand publishing, document composition, electronic delivery and all aspects of fulfillment.  He is a liaison with the product management team to enhance communication strategies, conducts market research and develops new technologies to support materials management.  Matthew possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in handling onboarding's for clients in the retirement, retail, institutional and insurance vertical markets. Prior to this position, Matthew led all of the print-on-demand operations in Broadridge's Edgewood facility.  Matthew earned a BA in International Business from Quinnipiac University.

Mike Hadley

Michael Hadley is a partner in the law firm Davis & Harman LLP. He practices in the area of employee benefits, advising clients on the full range of tax, ERISA, and other laws affecting benefit plans. He has a particular focus on helping financial institutions that sell products to defined contribution and defined benefit plans, IRAs and similar plans navigate the special rules that govern those plans. He also provides clients with strategic advice, plan design, counseling, and compliance assistance for qualified plans, 403(b) and 457 plans, non-qualified executive compensation, employment agreements, and health and other welfare plans.

Mr. Hadley was formerly Associate Counsel for Pension Regulation at the Investment Company Institute, the national association of U.S. investment companies. His responsibilities included advocating for the Institute's membership before Congress, the Department of Labor, the Department of the Treasury, and the Securities Exchange Commission on retirement security issues and assisting ICI members and staff in understanding tax and ERISA rules. Among other duties he managed ICI's work implementing the Pension Protection Act and responding to 401(k) fee, investment advice, and fiduciary developments in Congress, DOL, and the courts.

Prior to joining ICI, Mr. Hadley was an associate with Covington & Burling LLP, where he advised clients on employee benefit plans and executive compensation arrangements, provided advice on ERISA litigation, and assisted with pension and benefits issues in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Mr. Hadley is a frequent speaker on the latest retirement savings policy developments coming out of Congress and the regulatory agencies and has testified before Treasury, IRS, and Department of Labor. Cynthia Hayes

Cynthia Hayes is a nationally recognized leader in retirement related policy, business management, product strategy, marketing, and client management. She formed Oculus Partners, LLC in July, 2008. Cynthia has built Oculus Partners into a consulting firm with over 40 employees and contractors, 25 clients, and over $12 million in annual revenue. Oculus has helped financial services companies, both large and small, in designing new products, new distribution and marketing strategies, new delivery channels (including call centers, web, and branch-based delivery), and has developed strong marketing and practice management programs in the retirement arena and more broadly in the wealth management arena.

Prior to forming Oculus, she retired from Merrill Lynch as a Managing Director of their Retirement Group where she held senior positions in business line management, sales, marketing, operations and strategy. Cynthia served as a driver of business, product, and marketing strategies for all retirement related businesses including Employer Plans, and Individual Retirement. As business line executive, she was responsible for the Retirement Investment Platforms, Institutional Integrated Benefits, Equity Award Services, and Small Business Retirement. She also served as Senior Marketing and Strategy Officer for Merrill Lynch Trust Company and the Merrill Lynch Financial Advisory Center.

Prior to Merrill Lynch, Cynthia was Senior Vice President of NationsBank (now Bank of America) responsible for Institutional Trust Operations and launching the daily 401(k) business. Other roles include Senior Marketing Officer for a national portfolio management software firm, Portfolio Manager for a boutique investment management firm, and Pension Consultant for a national broker/dealer.

Cynthia was named as one of 5 finalists in "Most Important Women in the 401(k) Industry" in 2007, and has been in the top 100 "Most Important People in the 401(k) Industry for multiple years. Cynthia also serves as President of Aspen River Securities, and Aspen River Capital, LLC. She carries the CFA and CEBS designations. Cynthia and her husband David have 4 children and eight grandchildren and live in Atlanta, GA.

Diane Jenkins

Diane is a graduate of Missouri State University and currently serves on Missouri Stateís College of Business Advisory Council.  Diane is a former board member of the Southwest Benefits Association, a former board chair for the Margaret Hudson Program, and is a former board member and Chair of the Community Investments Committee for the Tulsa Area United Way.

As a member of Lincolnís Retirement Plan Services Senior Management Committee, Eric is charged with driving Lincolnís efforts to bring client centric solutions to market and is responsible for product and solutions development, management, positioning and pricing. Eric serves as Chairman and President of Lincoln Financial Groupís Trust Company and is a member of Lincolnís Corporate Leadership Group (CLG).

Prior to Lincoln, Eric served as Worldwide Partner and Defined Contribution Business Leader for Mercerís Outsourcing business in the U.S. From 1995-2004, he served as Managing Director of Strategic Relationship Development at Putnam Investments, promoting business growth by leading the development and expansion of the variable annuity, sub-advisory, private equity and retail 401(k) businesses. Eric began his career at Fidelity Investments and Allmerica Financial, serving in a variety of business development, marketing, product and finance roles.

Eric graduated magna cum laude and Commonwealth Scholar from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he received a bachelorís degree in finance, and earned a masterís of business administration from the Boston University School of Management. He holds Series 6, 7, 24, 27 and 63 licenses with FINRA and serves as Chairman of the Board of Aviv Centers for Living and is Vice-Chairman of the SPARK Institute, Inc.

Eric lives north of Boston, Mass. with his wife and two teen-aged children, and enjoys golf, skiing, reading and long-distance bicycling.

Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he was with Goldman Sachs for 10 years as vice president and national sales manager in the retirement services group. Mr. Murray was previously a regional representative and a national accounts manager at Delaware Capital Management and began his career at Fidelity Investments Institutional Services. He has 19 years of investment and financial services experience and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Charlie Nelson

Charles Nelson joined Great-West Financial in 1983. He was appointed executive vice president of its retirement services business in 2014 after serving in a variety of roles in the unit since its inception. Nelson provides leadership for the core 401(k), government and institutional markets lines of business. His responsibilities include sales, relationship management and customer service for these markets nationwide. He also oversees the Denver Operations and Client Service Hub.

Great-West Financial is the nation's second-largest retirement plan record keeper (Spectrem Group, based on total participants at Aug. 31, 2014).

Nelson is the recipient of the 2014 PLANSPONSOR Lifetime Achievement Award, and 401(k) Wire's 2013 Most Influential ranking lists Nelson as the seventh most influential player in the 401(k) market.

He is past president of the board of directors of The SPARK Institute, a trade institute that represents the entire spectrum of defined contribution service providers, including mutual funds, banks, insurance companies, investment advisors, third-party administrators and benefit consultants, which serve approximately 78 million U.S. defined contribution participants. He has been a member of the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA) since 1985. As a member, he has contributed articles for publication, participated on a number of committees, and spoken at numerous regional and national conferences to support and assist the organization's efforts to further the industry.

Nelson is a graduate of Whitman College with a degree in chemistry and economics. He was appointed to the Whitman College Board of Overseers in 2008. Nelson also serves as a board member of the American Heart Association's Denver Affiliate.

Chris O'Neill

Dr. Chris O'Neill is managing director, chief investment officer, and director of research for the Investment Strategies group at Mesirow Financial - an independent, third party consultant that provides robust asset allocation strategies and fund selection to insurance companies, 401(k) providers, broker/dealers and mutual fund companies.

With over 20 years of experience in financial and scientific research, Dr. O'Neill has expertise in quantitative investment manager selection, Monte Carlo simulation, and quantitative finance. In addition to managing the Investment Strategies research team, he is responsible for developing innovative manager selection and portfolio construction methodologies, as well as a retirement income framework that optimizes both product and asset allocation for traditional investment products and advanced retirement income products.

Prior to joining Mesirow Financial, Dr. O'Neill was a research consultant at Ibbotson Associates, where he applied quantitative analysis and product development experience to support the efforts of the Investment Management Services, Fund of Funds and Financial Communications groups. Prior to Ibbotson Associates, he was president and founder of Quantalent Investment Consulting, LLC, an independent Registered Investment Advisor, where he offered quantitative investment advice and methodologies to other financial advisors. Before founding Quantalent Investment Consulting, Dr. O'Neill spent five years dedicated to financial planning, which culminated in a senior product management role developing an online investment advice tool for a major mutual fund company.

Dr. O'Neill earned his Ph.D. and master's degrees in theoretical physics from Cornel lUniversity and a bachelor's degree in physics magna cum laude from Princeton University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Professional, and holds Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. In addition, he has published a variety of papers and academic reports in theoretical particle, accelerator, and gravitational physics.

Jennifer Plese

Joe has more than 25 years of leadership experience in relationship management, sales, investments, trust administration, operations and systems. He has served in a variety of leadership roles in the institutional and investment areas including the mutual funds business, pension and employee benefits and institutional custody division.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Franklin and Marshall College. Joe is active in the retirement industry as a speaker and participates in several executive industry trade groups and boards. He is currently president and a board member of The SPARK Institute, Inc. He also serves on the board of directors for the LIMRA/LOMA Secure Retirement Institute. Joe volunteers in the Charlotte region with various charitable functions and was most recently an active board member on the Charlotte Catholic Foundation. Stacy Sandler

Steve Saxon

Steve joined the firm in 1979 following his graduation from Georgetown University Law School. He received his undergraduate degree from Colgate University.  Steve currently serves as the firm's Chairman.

At Groom Law Group, Steve works on a wide variety of administrative, litigation, and legislative matters involving tax-exempt organizations and ERISA.  Steve specializes in matters relating to Title I of ERISA, with respect to which he has obtained scores of advisory opinions and exemptions.  Steve has worked on numerous DOL audits of plans and financial institutions that service plans.  He heads up the firm's special practice groups on pension plan investments and on 401(k) plan administrative and investment management matters. Among other things, these groups focus on the ERISA, securities, banking, and tax issues that arise in connection with the offering of products to employee benefit plans.  Steve has been selected by his peers to be included in "Best Lawyers in America," and is top ranked by Chambers.

When he is not working on behalf of his clients, Steve spends a great deal of time on charitable endeavors.  "My involvement with Catholic Charities and the D.C. Special Olympics, and seeing first hand their commitment to helping the poor and disadvantaged, has been extremely rewarding."  Steve was a founding director of the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington Legal Aid Network and is currently a member of the Investment Committee of the Catholic Charities Foundation and is President of the D.C. Special Olympics Board.

Institutional Retirement and Trust is a distinct business line within the Wealth, Brokerage and Retirement Services area of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., a subsidiary of Wells Fargo & Company, a publicly held bank holding company founded in 1852

Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she managed Strong Retirement Services' Product Development, Product Support and Implementation teams.  She was also a manager with William M. Mercer Consulting Company.  Chris has been involved in the retirement industry since 1982.  She graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in mathematics.

Tim Slavin

Tim Slavin is Senior Vice President, Defined Contribution at Broadridge Financial Solutions. He has overall responsibility for all facets of the Defined Contribution business including developing the strategic direction, client development and strategic partnerships.  He brings an extensive understanding of the financial services industry, and a strong record of building business and product strategy for investment management firms to this role.

Tim is a recognized leader in the industry on regulatory issues and has consistently been named by 401k Newswire as a Defined Contribution Most Influential Individuals.  He had participated on a number of panels at industry conferences on topics ranging from fee disclosure, 401k market opportunities, business model transformation to Broker Deal Readiness.  He is currently on the SPARK institute Board of Directors and a member of the ICI Technology Committee.

Mr. Slavin received a B.A. from St. John's University and is a graduate of the SIA Securities Industry Association program.

Prior to joining Janus in 2010, Matt spent 17 years at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its predecessors. Most recently, as Director of Thought Leadership and Professional Development, Matt was responsible for helping Financial Advisors adopt a holistic, wealth advisory practice servicing high-net-worth clients. Before that post, he held a number of positions including Director of Financial Planning at Citi Smith Barney and Director of Retirement Planning at Smith Barney. Matt also served on the SIFMA Retirement Savings and Products Committee and taught the CFPģ program at New York University.

Lucas Soucy

Lucas Soucy has over 16 years of Operations and Plan Administration experience in the retirement services industry.  During his career, Lucas' responsibilities have included establishing and managing operations centers, consulting on process efficiencies, understanding client needs, plan implementations, transition strategies and relationship management. 

Lucas joined Congruent Solutions in 2005 to help setup a back office delivery center for retirement services that focused on providing service providers support for transactional based processing as well as compliance testing, 5500 preparation and everything in between.  Today he runs the Retirement Services Division and is responsible for all back office operations onshore and offshore. He has also provided guidance and oversight to the development of Congruent's own recordkeeping platform, COREDC, which was recently launched last November.

Prior to joining Congruent, he spent his career at several service provider organizations like GoldK, Inc., BFDS and Trustar Retirement Services managing operations teams, providing customer support, managing implementations and conversions and establishing reporting mechanisms. His career started in transaction processing in Operations and has served as the foundation of his career.

Harley, who has more than 15 years of senior business leadership, has managed the Standard's retirement plan business since 2010.  An adept leader with expertise in IT, HR, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, sales and distribution, he has a track record of developing successful continuous improvement programs.

Harley graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and received an MBA in operations and finance from the University of Oregon. He resides in Portland, Oregon with his wife, Robyn, and their three daughters. Active in civic affairs, he serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement and Metropolitan Family Services.

Lisa has extensive expertise in product management and marketing, organizational development, change management, program management and solution delivery.

Currently, Lisa is a Vice President at ProcessUnity, a privately-held risk management software company. She leads the Service Delivery Risk Management business focused on providing solutions for financial service firms to manage service offerings with greater clarity, control and profitability. 

Prior to ProcessUnity, Lisa was a Principal Consultant for her own firm, Weil Consulting, and affiliated with key partners North Highland Co, and BridgePoint. From 2008-2013, she led several consulting engagements for leading retirement and asset management firms, to assess and implement service transformation strategies aimed at promoting profitable growth.  Previously, Lisa was Senior Vice President at Fidelity Investments, where during her twelve year tenure between1996-2008, she held various product leadership roles, spanning across the Institutional, Retail and Advisor markets, and held her Series 6, 24 and 63 licenses with FINRA. Lisa started her career in the software industry, where for nearly ten years she held technical consulting and product roles. 

Lisa holds a BS in Computer Science from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She serves on the board of directors for The SPARK Institute. 

Lisa is a native of Massachusetts, where she now lives outside of Boston with her husband and two children. She enjoys skiing, pilates, traveling, and volunteering on local education boards and non-profit organizations focused on child enrichment.

Prior to joining Invesco in 2010, Scott was with Van Kampen Investments. In his 25+ years with the firm, he advanced from field sales to regional sales and finally to national sales positions. In addition, he served as Director of Marketing. Prior to his career in financial services, Scott worked in sales distribution with Procter & Gamble. Scott holds a B.A. in economics and communications from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Scott is an avid hockey enthusiast. He assumes full credit for his Texas born wife's new-found love of the sport. Scott is the father of four children and resides in Wheaton, Illinois.

Prior to joining PIMCO in 2002, he was with Merrill Lynch and Deloitte Consulting. He has 13 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and undergraduate degrees from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Bob was also the founder and managing director of the Society of Professional Asset - Managers and Record Keepers (SPARK). SPARK member companies provide asset management and/or recordkeeping & administration services to over 97% of the participants in the defined contribution marketplace.

In 2000, he organized The SPARK Institute to meet with members of Congress, regulatory agencies and their staffs on various issues of concern and interest to the retirement services industry. Representing the interests of a broad-based cross section of providers, The SPARK Institute has become a key industry resource in Washington by developing and promoting practical and balanced solutions on critical industry issues that impact plan sponsors, participants and service providers.

Bob is also the president of RGWuelfing & Associates, Inc.  RGWuelfing provides M&A consulting services and transaction management within the retirement industry.

Bob has a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut, an MBA from the University of Hartford and serves on the Entrepreneurship Advisory Council at Grove CityCollege in Pennsylvania. Bob is a frequent speaker at industry trade association meetings.

Bill Yoerger

Bill Yoerger joined AUL in 1993 as a regional vice president after a successful career selling retirement plans and services for CIGNA. Prior to his sales career there, he was a group and pension representative for Principal Financial Group's in the Cleveland area. Most recently, he was vice president of sales in AUL's Retirement Services division. 

Bill's professional associations include membership in The SPARK Institute and the Retirement Services Roundtable. He is a former chair of the LIMRA Retirement Investment Committee.

Bill attended The Ohio State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
